Home is the job you left open

Continue the last EICR. Records stay on the device without a signal. Sign in from Settings when you want sync and backup.

One hub per report

Setup, supply, boards, inspection schedule, observations, tests, signatures. Progress sits on the report, not a second app.

Outcomes you already write

Acceptable, C1, C2, C3, FI, LIM, N/A, N/V, and X on the intake. C1/C2/C3/FI open an observation. You choose the code — the app does not invent one from a reading.

The EICR, in the order you fill it.

New reports use BS 7671 Amendment 4. Legacy reports stay readable. Production issue of a live certificate is locked while independent review finishes. You can still fill the form and preview a draft PDF.

Clients and sites first

Who is this for, then which installation. New client if you need one. The report hangs off the site, not a pile of untitled PDFs.

Setup names the standard

New work is BS 7671:2018+A4:2026. Person ordering, address, extent, dates. A public report reference is assigned when you save — not a postcode stuffed into the filename.

EICR hub on iPad: report list and the page in view

iPad is the desk. iPhone is the van.

On iPad the certificate is a full-screen workspace, not a phone layout stretched to fill glass. The report sits on the left — setup, supply, boards, inspection schedule, observations, tests, signatures. The page you are filling sits on the right. Tap a board or a schedule item and that page replaces. You do not push board → circuit down a stack you then have to back out of.

What “iPad optimised” actually means.

Same records as the iPhone. Different chrome for a 13-inch desk, a kitchen table, or the van passenger seat. Not a website in a tablet frame, and not the iPhone UI with bigger type.

Split hub on the certificate

List and page stay on screen together. Progress (N of M) stays on the report. Walk the inspection with the schedule still in view. Collapse a section when you are done with it.

The whole EICR is full screen

New certificate from the first screen opens full screen — client, site, setup — then the hub. Short edits (a client, a site) stay a compact form sheet. The certificate does not live in that sheet.

Tabs stay a catalogue

Home, Clients, Jobs, and Settings are the same product as iPhone, centred on the page so a list is not a 12-inch empty field. One store, offline, optional sign-in. Open the job on the phone later if you pocket it.

Landscape is the intended certificate layout. Portrait still works; the split is for when you have the width.
You choose C1–C3, FI, LIM, N/A the same way as on iPhone. The pad is the same outcomes, not a second coding system.
Draft PDF preview is the same file you would share from the phone. Production Issue is still locked on both.

Not a standards-body product. SnapCert is paperwork software. You remain responsible for the inspection, the codes, and whether a report is fit to hand over. We do not claim the IET, BSI, NICEIC, or NAPIT have approved this app.

On site, then on the phone.

Offline first

Records live on the device. Basements and metal-clad risers are the point. Sign in from Settings when you want cloud backup and another phone.

CSV import

Import a client list — name, plus optional phone, email, address, postcode, and city. It is not a promise that every competitor export lands perfectly.

Invoices

A certificate can carry an invoice in the same job. Not a full accounts package.

Board Vision

On-device help reading a board. You still own the circuit list.

There is no public App Store Issue button yet. If you inspect installations and want the iOS app, ask for a TestFlight seat. iPhone or iPad. No Android build. No public TestFlight link on this site.
